Design and Technology
The BMW M Hybrid V8 features a futuristic design that focuses on both speed and aerodynamics. Every part of the car is carefully shaped to help it move through the air efficiently while producing enough downforce to stay stable at high speeds.
Unlike traditional race cars, the M Hybrid V8 uses a hybrid powertrain. This means it combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor, improving performance while making the car more efficient. The hybrid system also allows the car to recover energy during braking and use it to provide extra power when needed.
BMW worked closely with Dallara, a well-known race car manufacturer, to develop the chassis and aerodynamic package.
